I am a month overdue on this! But I wanted to share my experience as a Platinum VIP on Line Play.
So in March, Line Play released the VIP system. It made everyone “Gold” VIP status.
Typically you would start off as “White.” When you collect enough stars, you then become “Gold,” then “Platinum,” and then “Diamond.” You collect stars by collecting your daily prize or buying cash.
Since everyone got to be “Gold,” I had a chance to become “Platinum” status easily without purchasing cash.
I collected my daily prize everyday in March. I finally reached “Platinum” VIP status at the end of March without purchasing cash. This is what happened!:
I was welcomed by Sebastian, the NPC for VIP statuses. His progress bar shows that I made it to Platinum! Yay!
Like the rewards say, each time you level up your VIP status, you gain more benefits, and one was the gem reward. I received 10k gems in my mailbox. I hope everyone was able to reach this point!
So there is also a special Platinum VIP castle! Since I finally reached “Platinum” status, I could enter! (If you are “White” or “Gold” status, you cannot enter. I was a peasant ;_; )
The VIP castle is amazing. It is chocked full of beautiful, intricate details! It was like an amusement park to be in this castle or even a piece of art!

Sooo I decided to play the special VIP gacha! I had some cash, and I really liked the items in this gacha– now that I was finally a Platinum VIP, why not?!
This is the first item I won from the gacha! I was so happy because I love rosy cheek make up, and I have a beauty mark, so I love that this make up includes it because it distinguishes and makes my avatar look different than others. (Kind of similar if your avatar has freckles– it makes your avatar more unique :)! )
I decided to try my luck again!
Now I felt really lucky! This was another item that I wanted! In fact, I liked a lot of items in this gacha. But I love ringlets. I love gothic lolita style, and this is perfect for that! Such beautifully designed hair!
I decided that I had tested enough of my luck and that I should save up the little cash that I had.

Not yet that I know of. It’s all been cash gachas or events :T To get to Platinum or higher status, typically users have had to buy cash.

I’m kinda new to the game. (I’ve only been playing it for a month or two maybe) and until today, the 30th June, like some days before, I wasn’t able to collect stars, let alone coins. I was confused. But I waited until today, just now, the ‘calendar’ (in line play) said ‘7’, so I guess it’s showing that it’s already the July (7th month) already. So when I collected the coins and the stars, it showed me my (vip) status and suddenly, it was showing me the status that you have when you first start playing the game. Why did it just reset my vip status ? This is the 2nd time it happened btw, did I do something wrong? It’s kinda frustrating because I was so close to the platinum vip status.

For the calendar of stars and gems, the time is based off of Korea I believe, so based on where you live, it’s still June 30th, but they are July 1st.
Also you’re not doing anything wrong. The VIP status resets every first of the month. Since it is July 1st in Korea, we all reset back to white status.
I was confused when that happened the first time too, but I noticed my friends on Line Play were saying that they lost their status too. We thought it would continue. But it’s actually because your VIP status resets each month.
I’m not a fan of that. But I think they want to reward those who spend a lot of money (and also get more people to spend a lot of money). @_@

Last month i already became a gold vip, but at the end of the month, it reset to white again. Why is this happeninh? Please help.

VIP status resets every month. It happens to everyone, so at least you are not alone. I am not a fan of this set up, but oh well. I wish you the best of luck!!!

I’m always so close to becoming platinum when im at gold but every time I only need 5 more I can’t get anymore daily gifts I used up all the squares but the month is never even over when this happens I feel like I’m never going to be platinum is there anything I’m doing wrong ?

There are only 25 squares in the daily gifts. For the past few months, they have been giving 5 stars per day. If you log in all 25 days before the month is up, you’ll have gotten 125 stars. To get to platinum, you need to have gotten 130 stars within the month (55 to get to gold and another 75 to get to platinum). If you did not purchase anything, you will not get to platinum VIP.
that’s what’s happening.
It depends on the special that month. Sometimes they give different amount of stars. Right now they’re only giving a boost but not enough to reach platinum without spending real money.

When I wrote this post, Line Play had a different free stars promotion than what it is running now (September 2016).

So if I get to gold, now in 2018. Will it reset back to white?

It resets every month. So if you get gold in August, it will reset back to white in September.
